Boots £5 off offer terms & conditions
By participating in the Boots £5 off offer ("Offer"), participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions"). Promotional materials relating to the Offer, including all information on how to participate in the Offer, also form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between any terms referred to in such promotional materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall take precedence.
1. Offer
a. The first 2000 consumers that visit the Clearpay pop-up store located at the Atrium, Westfield White City, London, W12 7GF between 16th December 2022 and 23rd December 2022 and scan the QR code displayed at the same pop-up store (the “QR Code”) will receive £5 (GBP) off when they spend £10 (GBP) or more in a single transaction on qualifying purchases in-store at Boots Westfield White City (the “Discount”) during the Offer Period using a virtual Clearpay card (“Clearpay Card”).
b. To participate in the Offer and redeem the Discount:
- Existing Clearpay customers with a Clearpay account will need to: (i) open the Clearpay App; (ii) scan the QR Code or enter the supplied promo code in the "My Clearpay" tab on the Clearpay App; (iii) visit the In-Store Tab on the Clearpay App to set up a Clearpay Card; and (iv) add the Clearpay Card to their smartphone's digital wallet.
- New customers who do not have a Clearpay account will need to: (i) scan the QR Code which will prompt the customer to download the Clearpay App (ii) successfully sign-up and be accepted for a Clearpay account; (iii) Once signed up the discount will be automatically applied in the “My Clearpay” tab (iv) visit the In-Store Tab on the Clearpay App to set up a Clearpay Card; and (v) add the Clearpay Card to their smartphone's digital wallet.
- To redeem the Discount, spend £10 or more in a single transaction on qualifying purchases in-store at Boots Westfield White City and pay using a Clearpay Card in accordance with Clearpay's Terms of Service (Store Purchases)
2. Promoters
The operators and organisers of this Offer are: Clearpay Finance Limited of 101 New Cavendish Street, London, W1W 6XH (the "Promoter") and Boots UK Limited of Nottingham, NG2 3AA. (the “Co-Promoter”).
4. Offer Period
The Offer will commence at 10am (UK time) on 16th December and finish at 10pm (UK time) on 23rd December ("Offer Period").
5. Eligibility
a. Residents of the United Kingdom [excluding the Channel Islands] aged 18+ only who are either existing Clearpay account holders or who obtain a Clearpay account during the Offer Period.
b. Internet access, smartphone and Clearpay App required.
c. Purchases must be made using a Clearpay Card during the Offer Period.
e. Participants may only redeem this Offer once.
7. Discount restrictions
a. The Discount shall not apply to the following items: infant formula, all medicines, pharmacy services and prescription charges.
b. The Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
c. The Discount cannot be redeemed for cash, is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative available.
d. The Discount is only available for purchases made using a Clearpay Card and shall not apply to any transactions involving other methods of payment.
e. Only one Discount may be redeemed per transaction and per participant.
f. A Discount may only be used once. If any items purchased using the Discount are subsequently returned, a refund will not be given for the value of the Discount, nor will a replacement Discount be provided.
g. A maximum of 2000 Discounts are available, first come, first served.
6. General
a. The Promoter and Co-Promoter reserve the right to withdraw or suspend this Offer at any time in the event of circumstances that are unforeseen or beyond its reasonable control (including suspected or actual fraudulent or misleading practices or other breaches of these Terms and Conditions).
b. Promoter's and Co-Promoter's decisions relating to the Offer are final and neither Promoter nor Co-Promoter will enter into any correspondence with participants.
c. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Offer should be directed to the Promoter through help.clearpay.co.uk
d. By participating in this Offer, participants agree to accept liability for any tax or duty due or payable as a result of participating in the Offer.
e. Neither Promoter nor Co-Promoter (including their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents) shall be liable to participants for technical hardware or software failures, lost, faulty or unavailable network connections or difficulties of any kind that may limit or prohibit their ability to participate in the Offer or for any loss, damage or disappointment of any kind suffered or incurred as a result of or in connection with participation in the Offer (including but not limited to the receipt, use, or misuse of any Bonus Card but excluding any death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Promoter or Co-Promoter).
f. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute or claim arising in association with this Offer or these Terms and Conditions. However, consumers who live in another part of the UK can bring legal proceedings in either the English courts or their local courts.
g. The Offer is subject to Clearpay's usual Terms of Service which apply to all purchases made using Clearpay including store purchases. Please use Clearpay responsibly. Clearpay is credit and late fees apply.
