Does Clearpay ever place an authorisation hold on the customer’s card? If so, how long does it take for the authorisation hold to reverse if the order is not completed or the card is not used in full?

Clearpay only authorises the payment amount of a customer's actual order value - if a customer is purchasing a basket of £100, Clearpay only authorises the customer's payment method for £25 as soon as they tap the terminal and are approved, NOT before. The store associate will see the whole sale for £100. We don't make customers guess the amount they're pre-approved to spend. They're able to see their pre-approved amount to spend in the app well before they even reach the till.
